She came to us 12 years ago as Ritaa,and they said she was around 1 years old. Fresh off the streets of Mexico, she was skinny and feisty. We found her online and thought she was a beauty! Our first meet n’greet had a few red flags but as we were driving away from her, tears began to well up. Moments later we were scooping her up from her sketchy foster and hoping for the best.

On September 1st we celebrated her 13th birthday, sure she’s bitten and been naughty but she’s come along way from that feisty gal. In those 12 years we got her a brother named Parker, unfortunately he didn’t make it past 10. Although she seems like love isn’t easy for other dog pals, i think she was lonely.

So, here we are with her new brother Swayze whom has brought some pep back into her step and encouraged her to chase those darn squirrels again. And while Swazye and her have adjusted to one another, her pep just isn’t enough, now we welcome Dolly to the family. Swazye and Dolly seem to be the best of pals already….can’t wait to see where our adventures take us, with Pica & The Koolies!
